Authorities say that carbon monoxide inhalation has killed a dozen individuals at a Georgia ski resort.
According to police, the bodies of 11 tourists and one Georgian national were discovered in the sleeping quarters over a restaurant in Gudauri, the biggest and tallest ski resort in the days of the former Soviet state. According to police, "initial tests did not find any signs of aggression on the bodies" and the incident seemed to be an accident, according to the news agency. After the residence lost power on Friday, officials said, an oil-powered generator was started. The dead bodies were found on Saturday on the 2nd level of an Indian food building.
The cause of the incident is now being investigated by the government , and have decided against making the names of the victims public. The location of the incident which i mentioned earlier to be Gudauri is a popular vacation spot for snowboarders and skiers , thereby serving as a variety of winter sports for travelers of all skill levels.
