Just over two months after suspending activities at two of its primary fields due to a political crisis, Libya's state oil firm announced on Thursday that it was starting up again.
Resuming production at the El-Feel and Sharara oil fields, along with exports from Es Sider, the nation's largest port, was announced by the National Oil Corporation in a statement.
In August this year , NOC announced a legal strategy called "force majeure," this legal strategy permits a business to terminate contracts owing to exceptional circumstances.
The NOC stated in its press release that it can resume producing crude oil and exporting it to its clients as an aspect of its evaluation of the force majeure situation.
