Professor Naana Jane Opuku-Agyemang has made history as she became ghana first female president, this is considered to be a significant milestone in ghana politics.
President-elect Dramani Mahama is her running mate , she contested under the party National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In 2008, she was appointed Vice-Chancellor of the institution of Cape Coast, making her the first female head of a public institution in Ghana.
During her tenure as the leader of the school , they experienced so much development both academically and infrastructure , certain revolutionary reforms were also implemented, this includes gender parity and improvement of infrastructure.
