Kylian Mbappé claims that his previous team, PSG, owes him 55 million euros.
Le Monde, a French media site, reports that Mbappé's 2017 signing bonus, his final three months' pay, and an extra "ethical bonus" are included in the sum. Early in August, the 2018 World Cup champion allegedly forwarded the case to the Clubs' Association legal committee. He also forwarded the matter to UEFA via the French Football Federation in the middle of August. The PSG, owned by Qatar, claims that despite getting a formal notice, the amount requested was not paid since the parties were able to come to an agreement.
According to reports, Mbappé agreed to forfeit the money in exchange for a free move. For almost a year, Mbappé has faced opposition from the PSG management due to the issue. He allegedly informed PSG last year of his decision to not extend his contract option for 2025. Mbappé's team is currently awaiting word from the organizations it has cited.
The 25yr old french forward completed a free transfer to real madrid in may.
