24 people were murdered in Zimbabwe on Thursday when a bus and a vehicle collided head-on, according to authorities.
According to Paul Nyathi, a police spokesperson, the accident occurred close to the town of Beitbridge, which is located on the southern border with South Africa.
The said bus had 65 passengers aboard and was on its way to Beitbridge from Harare.
While attempting to overtake another car , it struck the haulage truck, the number of those injured are yet to known as at the point of making this report.
According to the states media , photos and footage of the wrecked bus and truck was seen with dead bodies. A total of 24 individuals died from the incident .
