Johnny Rep, a World Cup legend, has raised concerns about his health following having a cardiac attack.
The 72-year-old former Ajax winger, who now resides in Spain, was recently brought to hospital.
The Dutchman's health issue happened just one day following his Holland colleague Johan Neeskens died on Sunday at the age of 73.
Rep inspired Holland to finish second in both the 1974 and 1978 World Cup finals.
Rep achieved a national milestone by netting seven goals in tournaments in West Germany and Argentina. His late strike in Holland's 3-2 defeat to Scotland in 1978 sent the Scots home, defying Archie Gemmill's heroics.
