Nearly six weeks after they vanished from sight, the bodies of a couple who went sailing across the Atlantic Ocean have been discovered on a washed-up life raft. It is believed that on July 12, Canadian husband Brett Clibbery and British woman Sarah Packwood abandoned their yacht and died, washing up on Sable Island, which is close to Nova Scotia.
After departing Nova Scotia in their 13-meter (42-foot) eco-friendly boat, Theros, a week earlier, the couple was reported missing on June 18. They had a 21-day excursion planned to the Azores, which was 3,228 kilometers away. How the couple's idyllic transatlantic journey ended tragically is unknown.
