On Wednesday evening, a man was planning an assault on Brazil's Supreme Court in the city of Brasilia, but died after reportedly detonating the explosives he carried.
The deceased suspect has been identified by the police and his name is said to be Francisco Wanderley Luiz, he was a failed council candidate of the then brazilian preside3nt , Jair Bolsonaro , Liberal party.
Bystanders reported hearing two explosions about evening, the latter of which is thought to have struck Luiz.
Accordng to the news that was released by the official , no one else was hurt during the incident.
The explosions sparked particular concern because they erupted on Praça dos Três Poderes, the plaza in Brazilian capital in which the Supreme Court, presidential palace, and Congress are housed.
