I copy my comment from this morning from one of the blogs/threads to you on the subject in here:
You stated that "the sooner people come to realize and respect it (a hierarchy of nobility in jobs depending on how close it is to the source of satisfying human needs in the hierarchy of human needs).....the sooner sanity will emerge."
My answer to this was, that all folks work deserves respect, ergo is equally noble, if done with ethos.
To which your answer was more or less, that I live in a bubble.
And my answer last posting was more or less that this bubble is as real as it can get.
And that you, too, live IN that bubble and not outside of it. So do I. And every one else, who does not work with his limbs alone to farm.
The very realization that ALL OF US live in a bubble is to be felt on every corner. It's the anxiety to be the next country which comes under the pressure of its bubble (economy) to burst.
Survival, in its most literal and direct sense means to be threatened with death directly. To be threatened directly happens two-fold:
-Either through machine-based war (bombs and rockets fall on your land)
-One person comes at you and attempts to kill you.
All people know, that once this happens, that they will most likely lose.
To become a winner (survivor) in that scenario, you must be either a warrior (killer) yourself or a prepper who already is skilled in survival techniques. Still, that would be a very dangerous state of existence.
Since the vast majority is NOT, the one and only chance to stay alive is to maintain the bubble. If you don't like to accept that the bubble is the very thing which secured your so far existence in the first place, you live from the idea that it's not deserving it's first place and that all there is, is the survival of the strongest.
Since it is totally rational to see that the ability and the will to kill is not something ordinary people are capable of and since that is the case, mere survival is rejected as a concept to live beneath human beings. Since between killing and murdering there is a fragile fine line.
Do you see the bubble as a contemptible, inauthentic life? Then you despise this life and ‘bubble’ is a word that expresses your contempt.
If you don't see ‘bubble’ as contemptible, but as an endeavour by humans not to live under the premise of ‘ the strongest survives’, and valuable life is not only the lives of those who have the ability to survive as a hunter or farmer as the sole provider and to kill others out of the will to survive and instinct, but also through the opposite ability of non-alone survival, non-killing, you have come one step further. Then it is not the petty word ‘bubble’ that is at issue, but something else.
That something else is the 'realm of mind,' which means opposing the concept of mere survival. It is to be found in philosophy and theology and of course in religiosity.
Ethos = the character, and moral values an individual possesses.
A psychopath has moral values - their own what is 'right' and 'wrong', hierarchy .
So (by your own definition of what is noble), as long as a psychopath is working to his own ethos, it is noble work.
Committing genocide is therefor equally noble work for the violent psychopath (compared to the farmer) by your own definition...
Top tip:
Stop digging a philosophical and intellectual hole to nowhere.
(ego check!)lol.
As to the rest of the comment...
K.I.S.S - Keep It Sane, Sophist.
(answering your own question with an assumptive statement - and then basing my entire world view, on your own sentences- is sophistry on steroids)
I think she is just bored ...
Anyway, i am going to sleep..
