Sunset at Praia do Arpoador and Ipanema

Fotogênica por natureza, a cidade guarda cenários cinematográficos para que seus moradores e visitantes capturem o sol. Existem vários lugares onde você pode ver esse momento, mas o melhor parece ser no final da tarde nas praias de Ipanema e Arpoador.

Eles são vizinhos e os dois podem ver o sol quase sempre se pôr atrás do Morro dos Dois Irmãos. Sempre há confusão ao configurar a câmera. Quanto maior o número f, mais próxima a abertura. Os valores podem variar de f/1 a f/32. Usei f/13 nas fotos. As fotos também foram tiradas em ISO 100 e em uma velocidade de obturador rápida (1/250s) as pessoas podem ver sombras,

Um efeito que só pode ser alcançado com muita luz atrás dos assuntos, mas é amplificado com uma abertura menor. Nesta foto consegue fechar a abertura para não ficar com o efeito de sombra que eu queria. Para corrigir isso, usei o Adobe Lightroom para adicionar sombras à foto. Alguns ajustes que costumo fazer no Lightroom (que também podem ser feitos no Photoshop) são ajustes de nível.

An effect that can only be achieved with lots of light behind subjects, but is amplified with a smaller aperture. In this photo you manage to close the aperture so that I don't get the shadow effect I wanted. To fix this, I used Adobe Lightroom to add shadows to the photo. Some adjustments I often make in Lightroom (which can also be made in Photoshop) are level adjustments.
