Fly, little kestrel! May your life be happy!

Hello my dear friends!
I already wrote that August is important because young birds, who for one reason or another have lost their parents, leave my house. Of course, this applies only to healthy birds that have successfully adapted and learned to hunt on their own. Otherwise, they simply will not survive in the wild.

Today, the baby kestrel also began an independent life. With kestrels, everything is not as difficult as with corvids, because by their nature they are not very disposed to humans. To tame them, you need to make an effort, which I do not do if the bird is healthy and does not need constant veterinary procedures. Thus, even grown up in an aviary, they remain quite wild and distrustful of humans. This greatly facilitates the adaptation process.

The kestrel chick is the sweetest creature. But don't be too gullible! Even a very small bird can claw at your hand or bite you. Despite their small size, these are very brave birds, ready to defend their lives.

In my native language, Ukrainian, this bird has a very beautiful name, which can be translated as "the one that fights the wind."
