Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved Olivia Newton John. I love her songs, her movies specially the very famous "Grease" with Mr. John Travolta as her partner. She is very beautiful with her blond hair and angelic face. I remember dancing to her songs and mimicking her moves, the way she sings, flicking her hair beautiful curly hair.
I am a big fan of hers. Her songs are for me timeless. During her era the music where just slow and not that upbeat.
The song, “Hopelessly Devoted To You” by Olivia Newton-John was released July 03, 1978. A hit song from the movie “Grease,” it was the only single from the “Grease” soundtrack to receive an Oscar nomination.
Sadly, Olivia Newton-John died Aug. 8 last year after a long journey with breast cancer, which was first diagnosed in 1992, according to a statement from her husband, John Easterling. She was 73.
As a tribute to her, I wish to share to you my rendition of her very famous song.
Well, this song is a bit sad because it's about a person who loves someone but that person will never be able to love her back because he never loves her or likes her in the first place. So, she is just hopelessly loving this person even if it meant for her to not be loved back.
Sad right?! Probably you know someone who has hopelessly devoted themselves to a person who can never love them back. I just wish they will wake up from this feeling of hopelessness and find someone who will and can reciprocate on their love.
