I found it a bit cheesy at the time. I think I saw the sequel at some point. Cool that it showed some of Seattle though. I'm a Vancouver boy so I know that gray rainy coastal region.

Yeah, I loved visiting Vancouver. Beautiful city and Stanley Park is awesome. I have alot of great memories in these cities.
This film is a bit cheesy at times, but it's just done well. It's nostalgic, and if it had had an R rating it could have done more.
True. A bit weird to make a serious horror movie PG13, limiting certain aspects. It was indeed done better than a lot of films in the genre, especially the newer stuff which is often just nonsense.
