Chaka.. Chaka..Chaka.. that was the sound of my sewing machine riding with me joyfully as I was matching on it . Drawing my fabric(material) tho and fro to make sure I get my desired style. Happily I stood , went inside my room to test my finished product and kpamm it was perfect on me, revealing my fine brown skin 🥰.
Being proud of the little I have learnt ( I’m still an apprentice) and happy for my self, I hurriedly took the large but broken mirror on my bed to take a final look on the top. Jesussss that was the name I kept screaming until my sister rushed in and joined me in the screaming, my mum rushed in too and that was when I and my sister realized that I have lost a lot of blood 🩸. The mirror had pierced deep inside my thumb with blood oozing out uncontrollably, my strong mum had to pull it out then took me to the pharmacy.
At first I thought my thumb was damaged, healing won’t take place because if any little thing touches it, it will start bleeding again but I was totally wrong. I gave it time and gradually it started closing up.
Most times in life, we meet challenges, bad experiences etc that we tend to have suicidal thoughts. It can be that we caught our partner cheating , pretending to love us while they don’t, betrayal from our loved ones/family or many other reasons . At this moment, pain will be at it’s peak, we will feel hurt that at times we feel that is the end for us. Bro/sis just know that it is a phase in our life and it will surely pass, just give it TIME and we will HEAL and get over it. Remember before that person came into our life, we have been living life and existing, so what makes you feel or think that without that person you will cease to exist like your life is Done Done, come off it joorhh… Without him/her you will still live your life until the day God decides to call you back home. Just give yourself TIME sweetheart and you will bounce back and you will only have the memory of their existence. Remember TIME is a HEALER but it leaves us with a SCARE that will serve as a MEMORY to us
