We are planning our big family outing this weekend.
It’s time to get the Christmas Tree.
We usually go with a balsam Fir. Sometimes we get a Spruce but the balsam is much more aromatic. There are a few Christmas Tree Farms in the area. So we head out with our axe and spend the day hiking through the woods, looking for that perfect tree. Once it’s tied to the roof of the car we enjoy a hot chocolate and home made cookies by the Bon fire …
This has to be one of my favourite memories.
I just hope we don’t get a flat tire this year.
