This is a place that I was eagerly waiting to visit on our last trip to Nuwara Eliya. I really love to eat Strawberries and Jagro is the best place to get super fresh Strawberries right from their farms. There were strawberries available everywhere in Nuwara Eliya but I knew the best quality can only be found in Jagro.
When I walk through their farms, It was amazing to see how this beloved fruit is cultivated. It was a great experience for me to watch how it grows. They don't allow anybody to walk inside the farms. But we can watch by staying out of the greenhouse.
In December it is very crowded in Nuwara Eliya. Many go on trips to Nuwara Eliya to experience the cold climate. Winter is a great time to be in Nuwara Eliya. As I said before it was crowdy when we visited Jagro, Lots of people were in queues to get their products.
We joined the queue too. There were a variety of desserts available adding fresh strawberries. I was excited until I get my order. I cannot exactly remember the name of what I ordered but It tasted like a haven. That's one best desserts I have ever had!
I didn't forget to get some freshly packed strawberries back home. My baby loves to eat strawberries just like me. Strawberries are a rich source of vitamin C and it is a fruit that you can give to your little one without any fear.
I blend about three strawberries at a time and serve them with yogurt. He loves it soo much!
