Les quiero compartir un poco lo que fueron nuestras celebraciones alusivas al carnaval, fiestas que además me tenían muy emocionada porque hace muchisimos años que no las hacíamos en el sector dónde vivo.

I want to share with you a little about our celebrations alluding to carnival, parties that also had me very excited because it has been many years since we did them in the area where I live.

Una de las muchas razones era el problema de la pandemia, sin embargo este año pudimos organizarnos como comunidad y hacer una actividad para el disfrute de todos en especial de los más pequeños.

One of the many reasons was the problem of the pandemic, however this year we were able to organize ourselves as a community and carry out an activity for the enjoyment of all, especially the little ones.

Entre las actividades que organizamos fue la elección de nuestras reinas del carnaval, participaron 8 niñas en total quienes por primera vez participaban en un concurso así, fue muy sano y cero vanidoso, las niñas se encontraban muy nerviosas pero al mismo tiempo super felices, todas recibieron una banda con una corona y un pequeño obsequio. Además se hicieron concursos a los mejor disfraces de niños y adultos.

Among the activities that we organized was the election of our carnival queens, 8 girls participated in total who participated in a contest like this for the first time, it was very healthy and zero vain, the girls were very nervous but at the same time super happy, all they received a sash with a crown and a small gift. In addition, contests were held for the best costumes for children and adults.

Para el segundo día de fiestas, preparamos una caminata por las calles del sector en el cual pudimos apreciar gran variedad de creaciones en cuanto a trajes. Las reinas regalaron caramelos a quienes se asomaban para ver el desfile y todos la pasaron increíble.

For the second day of festivities, we prepared a walk through the streets of the sector in which we could appreciate a great variety of creations in terms of costumes. The queens gave candy to those who showed up to see the parade and everyone had an incredible time.

Mi hija por su parte lució un traje que inicialmente lo usó su bis abuela hace más de diez años y este fue adaptado para estatura y talla, ella estaba demasiado contenta porque estaba usando ese vestido que le regaló si bisabuela.

For her part, my daughter wore a dress that was initially worn by her great-grandmother more than ten years ago and this was adapted for height and size, she was too happy because she was wearing that dress that her great-grandmother gave her.

Y bueno mis amigos esto fue un poco de nuestras fiestas carnestolendas.
