In loving memory of my father as Catholics celebrate all saints day today by @tripplem

I was born into a catholic family and as Catholics November 1st is all saints day. A day we remember the dear souls that departed from us.

I don’t usually do this yearly but today, my heart was so heavy. I was just sober so sober and was thinking about my dad, I don’t know why but I just want to pour my heart out 💕💕💕💕

Hey dad,

I don’t have much words to say but I will sum everything up with “I miss you”.

I wasnt opportuned to spend much time with you but the little time I had with you was so priceless and evergreen in my memory.

I wish you were still around to hold my hands and encourage me, to advise me against certain mistakes that I wouldn’t have made.

Well, since you were not here, I want to let you know that Your wife, my mother did a very good job. I Grew up to be a very beautiful, hard working, and intelligent girl just like you would’ve trained me to be.
But that doesn’t mean that I didn’t derail in a way or two, I have made bad decisions and mistakes which I am not proud of though, but sometimes I just wish you were around so I can pour my heart out to you as a father because you wouldve understood better.
Nevertheless, those mistakes moulded me, made me stronger, independent and more responsible.

Life has not been easy without you around, I became an adult even before I turned 10 due to responsibilities, l get jealous when my friends receive calls from their fathers, every Father’s Day is just a constant reminder that you are not here, I wish I could hate you for leaving so early, but no I won’t because I knew you wouldn’t have chosen to left if it were in your hands to make that choice. I knew you loved us so much. The imprints you left on the sands of time is so glaring.

I promise to make you proud.

I love you so much Dad, till we see again Mr Raphael Meribe. I am still your lovely daughter MaryMagdalene Ogochukwuka.
