🔹The village of Novy Burluk has been under enemy occupation since the first day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. According to local residents, the soldiers of the Russian army behaved defiantly - they settled in citizens' homes, took away cars, took livestock, food, and looted. And they killed.
According to Mykola Kivshar, the grandfather of the deceased girl, before the war, the 10-year-old girl lived with her parents in Kharkiv. The child was moved to the village of Novy Burluk because they thought it would be safer there. On February 25, the girl and her grandfather went to the store to pick up her grandmother. At that time, a Russian sniper shot their car. The bullet hit the child and passed through.
🔹During the transportation of the injured girl to a medical institution in the city of Chuguiv, their car came under fire again. The girl died, the grandfather and grandmother were injured. The man carried the child's body in his arms to the nearest village. First, he buried his grandson in the yard of his own house, and then reburied him in the cemetery.
On February 26, the occupiers shot a 40-year-old local resident.
🔹The attackers did not like the fact that the man was filming the mess and looting in the local store, which was committed by the Russian military. He was killed by a shot in the head. Relatives buried the deceased at the local cemetery.
🔹As the senior investigator of the Chuguyiv district police department, Dmytro Seredenko, said, law enforcement officers removed the bodies of the two victims at the burial sites, collected physical evidence and sent it for expert examination.
🔹Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment.
🔹On October 21, the exhumation of the dead was carried out by the investigative and operative group of the Chuguyiv district police department, criminologists together with the employees of the Chuguyiv district prosecutor's office.
