Saludos amigos de Blurt! hoy quisiera comentar con respecto a un tema que a mi en lo particular me parece muy interesante y les hablo con respecto al uso y gusto por las matematicas.

Y es que cuando yo era pequeño a las matemáticas siempre se le han proporcionado una especie de estigma que hace que los niños le tengan terror, porque a muchos de nosotros de nos ha enseñado esta asignatura, de una manera que considero bastante negativa.

En lo particular recuerdo cuando era pequeño que se me enseñana a sumar contanto manzanas o peras, en fin cualquier fruta, y los problemas de matemática ser realizaban en función de problemas sencillos y que podríamos aplicar en nuestra vida diaria.

En mi caso, todo cambió cuando me tocó aprender las tablas, en mi caso tuve que memorizar las tablas de multiplicar y dividir, sin que me dijeran en nigun momento el porque debía realizar esta operación o como lo iba a poder prácticar en mi hogar con elementos cotidianos, eso para un niño pequeño confunde.

El multiplicar se me hizo fácil, pero el dividir es otra historia, y desde entondes la matemática no se me hizo tan divertida, de allí tuve que aprender que los numeros se movian dentro de un eje que dividia los positivos de los negativos a partir del cero, y como calcular, funciones, derivadas e integrales con un monton de ejercicios sin saber el porqué de las cosas.

Como yo estudié ingeniería pude poco a poco verificar el porque de los calculos que había aprendido, y como poder establecer las relaciones para su uso más que por el simple hecho de lograr un resultado.

Y pues si para mi el gusto por las matemáticas proviene del conocer su aplicación, más que lo fácil que me puedan resultar laresolución de un problema, y considero que de enseñarla siempre como una herramienta para el logro de objetivos más palpables, esmuy seguro que muchos niños tambien le tengan ese gusto a una actividad tan util y gratificante.

When I was a child, mathematics has always been given a kind of stigma that makes children dread it, because many of us have been taught this subject, in a way that I consider quite negative.

In particular, I remember when I was little I was taught to add counting apples or pears, in short, any fruit, and math problems were done based on simple problems that we could apply in our daily lives.

In my case, everything changed when I had to learn the tables, in my case I had to memorize the multiplication and division tables, without being told at any time why I had to perform this operation or how I was going to be able to practice it at home with everyday items, that is confusing for a small child.

Multiplying became easy for me, but dividing is another story, and since then mathematics did not become so much fun, from there I had to learn that the numbers moved within an axis that divided the positive from the negative starting from zero, and how to calculate, functions, derivatives and integrals with a lot of exercises without knowing the why of things.

As I studied engineering I was able to verify little by little the reason for the calculations I had learned, and how to establish the relationships for their use rather than just to achieve a result.

And if for me the taste for mathematics comes from knowing its application, more than how easy it can be to solve a problem, and I consider that teaching it always as a tool to achieve more tangible objectives, it is very sure that many children will also have that taste for such a useful and rewarding activity.
