When 2 Years Feels Like A Day

in blurtlife •  2 years ago

What a difference the passage of time makes! Last I shared here, the world was a different place with no fear mixing with people and no global crisis. I can still recall the carefree attitude I had when stepping out for a bite to eat, and we seem to be slowly returning to that era of "the before time."

I hope you all made it through with as few trials and tribulations as possible. We've been lucky having not lost any family members over the duration, and I was fortunate enough to find out about all of this in late 2019, which gave me plenty of time to prepare and stock up on supplies back when no one paid any attention to my entreaties to do so.

Lessons Learned

What I've learned since then is that we can only do what we can, and then need to look out for ourselves. Wisdom will come when it does to those who wait for it, but the rest of us know to seek it out in its hidden places. I'm glad that I was able to make use of what I learned and it has so far served me well.

Concerning the current state of crypto, If you've been around long enough, you've seen these cycles play out again and again. To me this is nothing more than yet another bump in the long road to the mass adoption of cryptocurrency. I feel the same way I did when I first learned about it on crypto forums back in 2009/10. Despite the way things appear in the present, I truly believe that the future is bright for those with a long-term view.

Crypto is not for the fickle or the faint of heart. But if you've done your research and only invest what you can afford to lose, you just may end up well-situated for the good times to come. Are you ready?
