Hi Blurt! The weather keeps getting better and since it was our friend's birthday we decided to open the BBQ season and rented a sauna for the evening!
A day before the event we went to a butcher I know - we bought three pounds of pork, farmer's sausages with chicken meat and fat, and three chicken breasts.
All this stuff was marinated in Crimean spices, paprika, and part of the meat - in a vanilla BBQ sauce with almonds, the chicken - with tomatoes and black pepper, and the sausages just waited in the fridge.
My wife's brother and I adore cooking meat, so the 4-handed process went very quickly, and the birthday girl periodically came to smell the grilled meat :)
Considering that the meat was marinating all night - it was cooked very quickly, and it turned out fantastically juicy.
It was served with boiled potatoes, red onions pickled in vinegar and lightly salted cucumbers with garlic. A perfect appetizer with vodka and a whole fairyland of flavors.
And of course we could not do without a hot sauce Fre Ass Fink from our friends from Moscow bar Undedog - a combination of hot peppers, smoked meat and maple syrup brilliantly complements the fatty meat and it's one of my favorite combinations.
In spite of the fact that we had quite a big company, we ate a little more than half of it and after a short rest we went to a Russian bathhouse, with brooms and an extreme heat of 115-120'C.
We went home satiated, satisfied and pleasantly tired, so Friday passes at maximum relaxation.
