OPM Music Talk - RAZORBACK - I am a big fan. Yung hebigat sounds volume 1. When i first heard it. Boom i was hook. Then it change how I played the guitar.. before i heard this i would learn songs thru ears and everything but when i joined a bunch of friends to play razorback songs and they said
di mo kailangan aralin lahat ng lead.. isapuso mo lamg gamitan mo ng skala bro.. then palagi na kong nasa scala..lalo na if its a just random jam or fun gig. And that is a bad thing kasi tinamad na ko kumapa ng solos..
"you do not need to learn all the lead parts.. just play it by hear and use guitar scales especially blues and pentatonic... then that stuck in me and I always play by scale especially if it is just a random jam or fun gig.. and that the bad thing about it.. because I became lazy to learn guitar solos."
Had just played their songs again after several months in a friends daughter birthday in a resort and it is refreshing. I still love their songs the bands have their ups and down.. original lead guitarist left and went to the U.S.. Drummer died of suicide and jump on his condo building. Vocalist left also and i don't know why but rejoined after several months.. The bassist left also after the drummer died. They were best of buds. I missed the old members.
Before I can play in the guitar all of their songs but now I think I can remember only 4 songs..

They had a recent comeback concert at 19 East in Sucat. Sadly, I did not saw it. We are scheduled for it but sadly had other important matters to attend to. Next time next time.
