Una pausa en el trabajo del jardín. [ESP-ENG]

Mientras hago una pausa en el trabajo y me dispongo a hacer un nutritivo desayuno, miro las últimas flores de mi jardín.

En esta parte del hemisferio meridional nos acercamos de a poco al invierno (falta un mes y medio para que llegue) pero de a poco las bajas temperaturas comienzan a hacerse sentir, aunque de vez en cuando vuelve algún recuerdo del verano con temperaturas agradables.

Quedan pocas flores en el jardín. La mayor parte desaparece con el otoño y hasta las dalias se han secado con el frío que aunque no sea extremo no es el ideal.

Los geranios resisten y quizás cuando tiempo le quedarán de vida a estas hermosas flores rojas, rosas y blancas.

La naturaleza es así. Tiene su ciclo vital y su período en el cuál descansa para luego volver con toda su fuerza.

Dentro de poco deberé comenzar con los trabajos de mantenimiento en el jardín y la huerta

While I take a break from work and get ready to have a nutritious breakfast I look at the last flowers in my garden.

In this part of the southern hemisphere we are slowly approaching winter (a month and a half to go) but slowly the low temperatures are beginning to make themselves felt although from time to time some memory of summer with pleasant temperatures returns.

There are few flowers left in the garden. Most of them disappear with the fall and even the dahlias have dried up with the cold, which although not extreme is not ideal.

The geraniums are resisting and perhaps how long these red, pink and white flowers will last.

Nature is like that. It has its life cycle and its period in which it rests and then comes back in full force.

Soon I will have to start with the maintenance work in the garden and the orchard.
