There's a sense of adventure that's so satisfying, discovering all that our beautiful countries have to offer. This leads us on various voyages like train trips, plane flights, and road trips. Road trips have particularly been a trend because many consider it safer than flying. Most parents love to embark on these trips with their children, and I'm grateful that the experience I'll share with you is not devoid of such an instance.
It was a beautiful and sunny day on which everyone was readily packed and enthusiastic about a certain road trip, and it was time to board the bus. In just a few minutes the bus was almost fully boarded, with people especially occupying the seats next to the windows, since the view from that vantage point is almost always picturesque. Mr. Franklin was one of such people who enjoyed that view, and as you might have rightly guessed already, he was definitely occupying a seat next to a window too.
Then, Mrs Agatha walked in with her daughter Mary. She looked profusely all around the place but seemed perplexed. Instinctively she walked up to Franklin and said, "Excuse me Sir, can you please excuse me and my daughter to sit over here instead? She really likes the view looking through the window since it calms her nerves." Franklin looked disappointedly back at Mrs. Agatha and responded, "I wouldn't ordinarily be bothered about relocating, but that will not be best for your child. She must learn that the world doesn't work like that after all. You have to let your child know that in the world you don't always get what you want, and you don't get what you do not deserve."
For me, Franklin's reaction was impressively that of a man worth his salt. He indeed taught Mrs. Agatha especially a very valuable lesson. Parents must dare to teach their children that which works.
