Saludos amigos y amigas de Blurt. Tenia rato sin publicar y la verdad no me gusta publicar cosas tan tristes, pero hoy me desperté con la noticia de que un gran músico de mi país (Venezuela) falleció de un infarto. Se trata del gran Aquilez Baez, guitarrista, cuatrista, compositor y un músico excepcional que ha dejado un legado importante en la música venezolana. Falleció en la madrugada de hoy en Alemania, estaba en una gira por Europa, tocando nuestra música. Es una pena, pero la vida es así, un día estamos aquí y otro día ya no estamos.
Greetings friends of Blurt. I haven't posted for a while and I really don't like to post such sad things, but today I woke up with the news that a great musician from my country (Venezuela) died of a heart attack. This is the great Aquilez Baez, guitarist, cuatro player, composer and an exceptional musician who has left an important legacy in Venezuelan music. He passed away in the early hours of this morning in Germany, he was on a tour in Europe, playing our music. It is a pity, but life is like that, one day we are here and another day we are gone.
Este grande de la música venezolana, hizo mas de 17 discos y colaboró con importantes artistas venezolanos e internacionales. Fue un músico genial, y esta breve publicación es para rendirle un humilde tributo y mis respetos. This great Venezuelan musician made more than 17 albums and collaborated with important Venezuelan and international artists. He was a great musician, and this brief publication is to pay him a humble tribute and my respects.
