You could say that it's been almost two years since I've done street photography. Fear was dulling my desire and numbing my eyes.
A few years ago, while I was walking around Buenos Aires with my eyes open and attentive to the situations that go beyond everyone's gaze, a little girl, about 15, 16, 17 years old, surprised me and wanted to steal me. Steal what she could. The "only" thing she could take from me was my desire to take street photos. For a long time I took pictures with my eyes, every scene I saw was a picture I couldn't bring myself to take.
But since nothing lasts forever, yesterday, in a different city, I looked, waited and shot. I don't know if the desire will win over the fear. For the moment I will try to keep my eyes open.
