Will you choose blurt over steem and Hive ? I choose Blurt because blurt is the best !

in blurtisbest •  3 years ago

There are so many people who use blurt , steem , and , hive altogether and for past few days i have seen people talking about other two chains trying to bring blurt down. It is really sad to see this and i dont know why they can't see blurt getting successful.

Because of all this few people had to leave blurt as they were losing support on one of the other two chains or both the chains. Some decided to be here with blurt like i saw a post by brother imran where he shared about a blurt witness randula who resigned on steemit from all her positions to stay here on blurt.

So which platform will you choose if you are being targeted just like people who have been targeted recently ? Well for me , i will no doubt choose blurt because of many reasons. Blurt is where i started my journey of social blockchains.

Unlike others who came from steem and hive , i was the one who first get to know about blurt and then steem and hive. i didn't even know that blurt was a hardfork chain of steem.

the second reason is that there is a protection of free speech on blurt missing on other two chains. Whales or i may say the people in power are running those chain according to themself. If you agree with them you are good but if not you might end up getting downvoted.

Blurt is the platform where i saw myself getting independent and where i have reached 100k blurtpower. I like blurt and i wll never going to leave it for any other chain. I write on steem as well but there is no value of my content there if i do not use service from justyy or upvu or any other person.

Blurt is different , you are being supported if you do hardwork .
Thank you

Although I do not think that I am completely successful in blurt, my choice will be blurt. I don't use Steem, I use hive, but I'm not as active as blurt.
From my point of view, blurt stands out from the others in terms of the freedom it provides.

I AM ALL IN for BLURT. Nothing has changed on HIVE/STEEM . They make have a lot more dapps, projects and communities, but there a still a few who ruin it for so many. I have created a discord for GROW BLURT RADIO & COMMUNITY to focus on building and GROWING BLurt. Please join me. https://discord.gg/YAdcW5RuxJ

It just makes it complicated for newbies, ppl like simple blurt could be mass adopted

I have no girlfriends but I'm in love with blurt.
I love it so much and it's my passion.

We should support crypto in general, there is nothing to chose for, they are all different, but I will avoid Steem as it is completely controlled by a dictator.

People say that but I’ve always felt much freer on Steemit when the bunch of dictators left and went to hive. Hive to me has always been the absolute worst of the worst. Justin sun has left Steem now anyways.

One man owning a full decision making of an entire platform is not a decentralization, he can flush out whoever he wants.
By the way if he left, who is in control of top witness accounts now?

I would say absolutely none of the social sites are truly decentralised really, nor could they ever be at this point in time because humanity is unable to function fairly as a unit right now and respect other people or differences in opinion without being insanely triggered or needing to gain control. Imagine if this site was purely decentralised it would just be taken over within a day by bad actors . So what it comes down to really is do those who have control act in a somewhat decentralised way. So far I can see that @megadrive tries, he might argue and disagree but I have not yet seen him remove anyone from the site other than plagiarists which, I guess he has to make an effort with if the platform wants to stay within the law and be allowed to function. He has done a couple of questionable things like assume the platforms stance on war, but he did listen to the community and apologise on that and also suggest he wouldn't airdrop to some people who pulled out funding which, I hope he will also backtrack on. He does at least seem to make a big effort to act in a somewhat decentralised way however that allows for a broad spectrum of ideas, opinions and behaviours. I have even see him say he doesn't care if people self vote because it is a free platform and its up to individuals to decide how they feel about self voting etc.

Now hive is the same platform they are essentially mirrors but the downvoting facility allows for a lot more abuse of decentralisation because although each whale might be only a few percent they all club together and 10 of them together with a voting trail is enough to essentially dominate and run the platform and make it impossible for anyone they just personally don't like or who defies their will to earn a penny or even have their posts seen as they will be taken to zero.

In my eyes none of them are decentralised, and truly I don't even think it's possible till humanity toe loves to have a decentralised platform, nor would we probably want one. However, blurt makes a good effort and hive makes 0 effort and actually even actively seeks to give no free will to users.

I guess the comparison of blurt and hive is something like Silk Road vs amazon. Both are centralised really but one person was really striving towards a free market and the other just wanted to get rich and exploit everyone else.

I've personally always been left alone on steemit since that one group left so I have no negative feelings about steemit, I think Justin has left now too so I don't even know who controls it really I just know on a personal level I am totally left alone there so can't really say any more than that but I have no doubt that when Justin had it it wasn't decentralised.

If someone makes you choose between two platforms you leave the one that makes you choose LOL that should be what happens anyway. I think people just hate the way hive platform works but Are getting more rewards there so they just keep their head down and play the game but at some point you can’t play anymore and that point will come to all these people eventually. You do see one by one the old ‘I can’t post any more I’m done’ and that’s when they are ready to choose. The fact that the hive players are watching over this platform so much just shows they are starting to worry that it’s beginning to do well and it’s something that makes them feel threatened. Its best we just keep moving forward to making this platform better and better and better

I’ve been on all the platforms at sometime and this is the only one I genuinely enjoy logging on to and fully enjoy the experience on to date I am grateful everyday it exists

Hive is best very engaging communities and dApps are very diverse. On Blurt no community engagement on posts hardly few likes and only focus on blurt price going up or down. If Blurt is blogging platform then focus on content. In my opinion Blurt become big investors backup plan.
