The voting day.

Finally, it's a voting day. There was so much preparation and drama going on over the last 3 months. All that was supposed to be done in the last 5 years was trying to be covered up and compensated in these last 3 months just for the sake of votes.

Position and power is an addiction that makes you forget you are a human being and there is a power even upon yours. With great power comes great responsibility is a saying that I always keep close to my heart but it looks like all our leaders never read about it. They just think of themself. Politics is all about keeping money for investor and their family members. If you notice in every political family all the other family members will either be in the higher government positions or they will also be in politics.

Anyway, coming back to the polling day, it always makes me feel very happy that all the citizens despite their backgrounds and status have to come to the polling booth to contribute their votes. That gives me the vibe of democracy, otherwise, it is not a common sight to witness.

Even though my vote was away from my home in the previous b area where I used to start which is quite far from my current location we made sure we go and vote because this is the time you act like a responsible citizen and it's for us and our betterment. Each vote counts and 8 did my job of voting.
