Today I will share with you a car accident that happened with me in December 2019.
It was 22nd December 2019 I was returning from my office at around 10 pm in the late evening. I was sitting in the left back seat of my car and my driver was driving. My residence was around 2 km from the spot.
I was talking with my driver while returning. It was a cold night and Christmas was just around. We crossed the police station and were moving ahead with a speed of 20-25 km. There was a hump on the road. All of a certain I noticed from the back that a bike is coming in full speed from the opposite side of us. I shouted to my driver to be careful.
Within a fraction of a second, the bike hit our car and I remembered one person flew to my car's front windscreen and rolled over.
I blacked out might be for 30-40 seconds and awareness came after hearing my driver’s shouting. I immediately asked him whether he was all right. He said he was.
I got out of the car and tried to figure out the status of the bike rider. He was lying down on the corner of the street and I thought he was dead. The people were gathering around and the bike rider sat down. I was relieved that the man was still alive and as the police station was nearby. I walked down to the police station to brief the accident.
The police ran down to the spot and found that the bike driver was around 20-21 years old. he was not wearing a helmet and later after doctor supervision found to be heavily intoxicated.
My car was was heavily damaged and the police made an F.I.R. and a case against the rider.
It took around six months to release and repair the car.
My advice to the riders and the drivers please don’t drink and drive, it can cause serious injuries even death not only to you also to the person you hit.
