Neurothemis fluctuans, popularly known as the common parasol or red grasshawk, is a species of dragonfly belonging to the family Libellulidae.
Except for the translucent wingtips, the male dragonfly can be identified by the red-wine hue of his entire body. And what you see here is a male common parasol.
The female is brownish yellow, with copper brown wings and translucent wingtips. Maybe another time I will share a photo of a female dragonfly.
