STRANGE VACATION

Sometimes we don't know about some of the strangest experiences in life till we live them. This is the story of Joe Rick as he encounters something strange on his vacation.

Joe had a busy day from work in the utility shop and got home tired. I need to go on a vacation, work is pretty hard and busy. Luckily it's almost time for my vacation. Now where should I go? Hmm, how about I throw a die and where ever it fell on the map will be where I will go. And now here we go! go! go!
Oh crap where the heck is this place. "Phinelo hills" hmm. Okay sounds new and interesting. Starting in two days I go to phinelo hills.
So he took the trip and found himself in the location.

Now now where to first, let me see. I have already lodged in and what left is to explore. There is this sea side I think I will go there. Off I go. Wow! The food here is amazing but this sea side is off the chats with view of the hills the forest and this river. It's so beautiful.

And so for the next 2 days Joe would spend most of his time there just enjoying the view until....

Seriously I would never get tired of this view but wait a sec. Whats that see over there? Is that a lady? What could she be doing wey over there across the river she doesn't seem like she is one of the guests or tourist from her clothes though I still can't see her face clearly.
Helloooo! Hellooo! Hi! Excuse me!
No wait. She left, why?.
The next day he went again she didn't show up.
Again he went and Joe just spotted her passing again from afar.
The 3rd time he did not see her again.
So he decided to cross the river this time and off he goes. The river was really deep and to swim across would be risky but a sense of adventure he was looking forward to. As he started swimming across the ocean current started getting stronger the river was raging and pulling him along it was as if something grabbed him and was dragging him. He tried his best but got carried by the current.

Uhu uhu where am I and who is this beauty am seeing in front of me am I dead in beauty heaven of pretty hot chicks. Her smile is just magnificent.
Turns out it was a dream
Huhuhu.. What is this lizard doing on my face uh. Darn where did everyone go you have got to be kidding me. Don't tell me that was dream well at least am alive that's the good part. And am standing on the other side of the river, wait. If I got dragged by the current why am I on the opposite side of the river facing exactly where I came from. This is strange, what happened.
Turns out he somehow woke up just at the place he was trying to cross to as of he never got washed off. What could be happening.
Now he sees her again passing by. He wanted to talk to her but she looked at him and only said. "Go before the sun set, you still have time to leave this place". Then she left.
What? I don't get what's happening her why will she say that. Excuse me wait can I talk to you for a second, Lady! .
That's strange, where could she had gone to? Darn I think am in love. Crossing was worth it. Her face her voice. She really seemed like an angel indeed. But what's she saying about sunset. Wait my watch am sure he's water proof the time isn't working well I should get back for now.
Joe was about to go back till he sighted tracks of stepped on grasses.

Joe followed it hoping it will lead him to her. It was a long walk till he saw a small settlement like a village.
They dressed quite normal and casual and seemed to speak English. He decided to approach the village people and asked a man cleaning his shoe nearby about the place and his village.
He was briefed about the perfectly normal village but could not yet site the lady while keeping an eye out for her. Joe decided to get back and come check the next day as there was still pretty much say time.
He followed that path back as he reached the river bank only to see It was sunset in an instant.
How can his be it was about 3 pm from ghetto brightness of the sun just a moment ago before I reached the river back just now.
In any case he tried jumped into the river to swim back and suddenly he wasn't moving any further. He suddenly began to drown. Surprised shocked and struggling and can even ask for help. Then a rope was tossed to him and he held it and pulled himself out by climbing the rope. There he was back again at the forest. And time opens his eyes after taking a deep breath to see the Lady.

I told you not to go she said. Now you are trapped her and won't survive that long. The forest will lock you here forever or the river will eat you up and drown you. She said.
Joe was speechless and lacked what to say. However she felt sad that it was her fault he got into this mess. For letting her self get seen by outsiders making them to cross. As this will not happen to anyone unless they have seen one of the villagers. Then forest will tend to want to keep them.
But there is a way she said. However it's a sad one. But it's better than a life of no freedom to go anywhere than wonder like a ghost.
My name is Erika. She whispered into his ears as she hugged him and pushed him into the river with her.
As in slow motion Joe saw himself being pushed together with her. And focusing on her beauty that's captivated him. He noticed ghostly figures of the villagers approaching behind. And the words He could hear was *Accept my request oh river".
And all went dark.

Shortly he wakes up on the side normal side of the river where he would sleep. It was as though he fell asleep and dreamt all this.
His mind was fuzzy. He stayed off going to that location for 2 days then went for few moments for the rest of his vacation but saw no sign of the Lady whose name he can't remember.
So he concluded it was a dream and went back home after the vacation.
After few months he went swimming and then someone said told him he had a cool mark on his back.He checked in two alternating mirrors and there was a mark that somewhat shaped like an "e".
He didn't know what to think coz he didn't have that mark before.
That was when a name sounded in his head,
Erika!.
