March is already over and has left us a good musical selection that is between two different eras of the rock world: the 70s, with their characteristic hardrock; and the 00's, with their proposals arising from the indie movement. And which are the bands that are on this list? Well, that's what we'll see next.
However, it should be remembered that this list is part of my profile on LastFM, a social network that has my statistics on music plays, and which, in turn, is linked to my Spotify account.

As you have noticed, there have not only been two different eras, but also the origin of the bands from different countries: in the 60s and 70s the Rock world was full of bands from England, including Uriah Heep and T.Rex, which maybe these two did not become so famous in the United States, such as The Rolling Stone, The Beatles, among others - I personally got to know them by recommendations on the Internet (case of Uriah Heep), or by the soundtrack of the Billy Eliot movie. On the other hand, by the 00's bands like Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Strokes were known among the public thanks to the MTV music television network; which was not the same situation of Radio Moscow, who were more of niches within rock - if you are so from The Black Keys, you may know them, since one of their members is a producer of their albums.

Marzo ya ha terminado y nos ha dejado una buena selección musical que se encuentra entre dos eras distintas del mundo del Rock: los años 70, con su característico hardrock; y los 00', con sus propuestas surgidas del movimiento indie. Y cuales son las bandas que se encuentran en este listado? Pues, eso es lo que veremos a continuación.
Ahora bien, cabe recordar que este listado forma parte de mi perfil en LastFM, una red social que dispone de mis estadísticas en reproducciones musicales, y que, a su vez está enlazada con mi cuenta en Spotify.

Como han podido notar no sólo han sido dos épocas diferentes sino que también de países distintos la procedencia de las bandas: en los años 60 y 70 el mundo del Rock estuvo repleto por bandas procedentes de Inglaterra, que entre ellas están Uriah Heep y T.Rex, a lo que tal vez estas dos no llegaron a ser tan famosas dentro de Estados Unidos, tal como The Rolling Stone, The Beatles, entre otros -Yo en lo personal los llegue a conocer por recomendaciones en Internet (caso de Uriah Heep), o por la banda sonora de la película de Billy Eliot. En cambio, para la década del 00' las bandas como Yeah Yeah Yeahs y The Strokes eran conocidos entre el público gracias a la cadena de música por televisión Mtv; cosa que no fue la misma situación de Radio Moscow, quienes eran más de nichos dentro del rock -si eres tan de The Black Keys, puede que los conozcas, ya que uno de sus integrantes es productor de sus álbumes.
