The fifth generation phone i.e. FiveG phone is now being made in the country. Manufacturers have plans to export this FiveG phone made by Samsung to meet the needs of the country. In the meantime, markets are being sought in different countries. The domestic manufacturers will be proactive in this regard if they get approval from Samsung's parent company.According to Fair Group, the maker of Samsung Mobile in the country, the FiveG phone became the center of interest of smartphone lovers soon after the release of Samsung Galaxy Note-20 and Note-20 Ultra. About three to three and a half thousand phones are sold out with pre-booking. Despite the high prices, there was no lack of interest from buyers, said Fair Group. The company released four thousand units of FiveG phones in the market.
Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar told the media about the 5G phones made in the country, 5G mobile phones are being made in our country now. The subject is a joy for us. We have learned that FiveG phone makers will export it. We have gone from an importer country to a producer country. We have become an exporter of hardware and software. This time we have also established Pub Walton as an exporter country on mobile phones. Others will also start slowly. He added, ‘I have learned that 72 per cent of the total demand for mobile phones in the country is now being made in the country. Very few phones we are importing now. There is no need to do that for a while. We will be able to meet the demand with home-made phones. '
By the way, mobiles of Samsung, Vivo, Walton, Apo, Symphony, iTel, Techno, Five Star, Winstar, Lava etc. are being made in the country. A local company made a phone called 'Wee' but later stopped production. Companies initially made ‘low-end’ smartphones but are slowly making ‘high-end’ sets. There are now 9 mobile manufacturing factories in the country. It is known that this number will increase further.
Asked about Samsung mobiles, Mohammad Mesbah Uddin, chief marketing officer of Fair Electronics, said 99.99 per cent of Samsung's phones, including FiveG, are now made in the country. We import the remaining 0.1 percent. For example, we import Samsung Fold series phones. The Fold-2 series phone, which is made in Korea, will be available soon.
