With the End of year 2020 we are moving close to Covid Vaccine

We have come to the end of the year 2020 fighting with Covid-19 and still in the same place. It's been almost 9 months when the lockdown was started in March month and it's indeed a very long period. I hope that you can keep yourself safe and fit this covid time.

Many countries are so close to finalizing their vaccine to overcome the coronavirus and India is also one of them. Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has confirmed that vaccination will be available in January and this indeed great news. The United Kingdom is the first country to start the vaccination but the recent increase in the covid cases through a different version again seems to be a big problem and hope that govt and doctors will be able to find the solution for this as well.

Today while watching the news I got to know that Delhi CM has done the arrangement for covid vaccination of the first phase. Since India has a bigger population so distribution will happen in phases and all the states will get the vaccine dose according to its availability.

There are a total of 51 lakh priority category persons in Delhi -three lakh health workers, six lakh frontline workers, and 42 lakh of those aged above 50 and those below 50 but having co-morbidities,” the chief minister said at a virtual press briefing. In the first phase, each person will be given two doses. A total of 1.02 crore doses will be required in the first phase of vaccination in Delhi, he also informed.

Govt has prepared a system with the use of technology through which people will get the update about the dose distribution through SMS. Currently in India mobile app 'Aarogya Setu" is very helpful to fight with covid and it also helps us to know if we are in the proximity of a covid positive person.

Use of technology makes things easy and better managed and good that govt is using it to make things transparent and even easy for people. I am sure that with the proper system and planning vaccine distribution should be well managed, transparent, and hassle-free.

The next year 2021 should be better than in 2020 because we will get the vaccine and hopefully we will get our previous life back however I don't think that things will be back the exact normal that was one year before. Let hope that we all get a better life in the year 2021.
