Monday is quite busy day. I have a lot of work to do at government hospital and my own outpatient clinic. During Covid-19 pandemic, most of people get rid of the hospital. They are so worried if they visit hospital nowadays, because when they are examined, and being suspected as Covid-19 infection.
It will be nightmare for them. So, people don’t go anywhere even they are sick. It’s a big challenge to fight Covid-19 here in my region.
Today I visited 12 patients at wards of the district hospital. Most of them have metabolic diseases like diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and heart failure.
Frankly, we need to make sure every patient is free from Covid-19. We have them checked first for Covid-19 before placed at wards. Because suspected Covid-19 patients must be placed at isolation room.
At evening, I went to my clinic. 21 patients were consulting their sickness to me. Most of them have gastric problem, like dyspepsia and GERD.
There were two diabetic patients, they have uncontrolled blood sugar level. I suggested them to use insulin as their blood sugar become uncontrolled since few months ago.
Yes it is hard to go to the hospital, with just some elevated body temperature and cough or colds the patients will get suspected of CoVid, they will undergo an expensive test and if they get positive with the results that will be bad for them and their families. @razack-pulo
That is why I am very careful with cleanliness and not going places.
Yeah, everywhere has the same standard. We will suspected as Covid-19 if a patient getting fever, cough or short of breathing. We will check everything to exclude Covid-19. We are so sorry :)
Yeah, better not going anywhere. And always wear mask, and handwashing with soap/sanitizer
How do you check they "have covid"? A PCR test?
To confirm someone has covid19 or not is by checking PCR test.
However, we suspected covid-19 to any patients who has fever, cold, flu, and has problem with routine lab test like leukopenia, low lymphocyte, and we found pneumonia on X-ray.
You really believe this? Really?
You don't know that the "PCR test" is not a test at all - never was, never will be - it is a manufacturing technique.
Hence, so many people miraculously "test" positive-negative-positive on subsequent days, due to arbitrary and lab-specific parameters.
Too many links to list all. Can start here: https://bpa-pathology.com/covid19-pcr-tests-are-scientifically-meaningless/
Where are the antibody tests? You know, like every other pathogen on a blood panel.
