A women, 38 years old was taken by her family to our hospital this afternoon. She was complaining of having cough and fever for about one week. She has muscles and joints pain. She also was so fatigue and no appetite. But she didn’t complain of anosmia. (Someone who has anosmia can’t smell anything. It’s one of Covid-19 sign).
On physical examination we found many rales on her lungs. Blood pressure, respiratory rate and pulses are in normal range. What make us surprise? After X-ray taken, and when I see the result of x-ray and I expertise it, I found many consolidation on both lungs. It’s really not good.
Moreover, after laboratory resting found that she has IgM/IgG of Covid-19 are reactive. So then, I were more convinced that the patient is Covid-19. But we need to confirm the diagnosis by PCR Swab.
We admitted the patient in isolation room- negative pressure. I ordered the medication for this patient. I gave Levofloxacin drip one a day. Then, high doses vitamin-C. I also gave Tamiflu or oseltamivir 75 mg twice a day is part of important thing to do. Some aseminophen and aspirin for helping their fever.

wow! here in Nigeria we dont have much presentation or even patients with moderate symptoms ......
Over here in the tropics , malaria seems to be more of public health importance than covid 19
Here is also a tropical country. Malaria is our public health problem as well.
