Our bathroom is elevated, I had it elevated while it got renovated because it gets unusable when strong rains comes pouring down. In fact the flooring of our house gets flooded in the process as well.
But I really had our bathroom fixed because it is really hard for me to use my sister's bathroom since it has no handle bars and the toilet itself has no flush too and I just have to use a pail to flush it down which is not that easy to do in my case.
Since I had the necessary funds for just fixing the toilet I decided to give it a go and proceed with the plan even though my parents didn't get it fixed to my specifications and expectations because they left the old tiles in with the bathroom walls, it still looks dirty but better than the previous. It is just hard to really get what you want even though you can afford it.
Anyway this afternoon after my father used the bathroom he just I think sprained his knee. it wasn't a dislocation or breakage but maybe just a bit of a trauma in his knee joints otherwise it would really swell-up.
So he will not be able to drive me for my dialysis tomorrow because of that incident and fortunately my brother agreed to drive me to the dialysis center. He will drop me off there along with my mother and will leave us and then will take my father to the hospital to get his knee examined by the doctor in the hospital in our town.
Then it will be my eldest brother that will drive us home after my dialysis God-willing. I guess that will be the system that we will have to do for now until my father gets better. Now he will be the one who will use my crutches and not me.
It is understandable that my parent's bodies are changing, getting weaker as years go by. They are both over the age of 70's already so I am really worried that soon they will not be able to take care of my wretched invalid body.
That is why I really wanted to die first before my folks because of the hardships that I will have to face if I would outlive them. For example right now my father could not be able to drive me and it lead to a problem like this but thankfully my brothers are still around to assist me and that is really what I am thankful for.
