Today is a mix of bad luck, anguish, worry, and sadness that happened at my dialysis day I must say because upon arriving at the dialysis center I am met with my dialysis machine which is somewhat malfunctioning and indeed it was.
The nurses are maybe had tuned it off and on for hell knows how many times and the machine would not complete into what it was doing.
Certainly my nurses have no technical clue on what to do and they just waited for the technician to arrive which at that point nowhere to be found considering that he is a regular employee of the hospital. I was asking them where the problem lies but they are just downplaying the situation and I just kept my cool head because there is no point of getting more upset as it will not help me in any way. I am more concerned about my parents outside who are waiting for me if I will be able to get hooked up or not.
They should have texted or called him but all that they had done was to wonder where he could have gone to. After three hours he finally arrived and thankfully he has some knowledge and experience from what and where the trouble lies for the damned dialysis machine.
Thankfully he has some spare parts which as he described it was a plastic membrane of the pump, maybe like a regulator of some sort where hot salty water also passes. Apparently it was worn and leaking which caused failure for the dialysis machine.
Unfortunately its was the machine that I was using and exclusively for my case as a patient with a viral condition of the liver, and yes I am now positive for hepatitis B and C where the C virus was a hospital acquired one.
I cannot use the other machines though because it is a protocol so as not to infect other dialysis patients with no viral issues with their liver.
Anyway finally after waiting for four hours in my also defective dialysis chair the machine finally worked and I guess it will get no more problems "I hope" for the time being.
My dialysis went well even though near the end I was feeling uncomfortable already but I managed go endure it until the termination time. I am still happy and thankful nonetheless because I had my needed dialysis.
All the while I was contemplating that I might get overdosed with Caffeine because I did took some 800 mg of Caffeine like I was doing before. Thankfully again the effect of Caffeine didn't get me in trouble and by the time it was in full effect I am already getting dialyzed.
I was also thinking of my poor parents having to endure that waiting time because we went out the house at 9:00 AM and was able to get back to our home past 7:00 already, may God bless my parents, they are the hand of God for me.
