My Blood Pressure fell Down Again Today

Today I am just lucky that I am able to finish my dialysis treatment but once again my blood pressure crashed an hour before the scheduled termination time. Fortunately I was able to finish it anyway after my nurses mitigated in which they reduced the fluids that have to be removed, added saline solution (NSS) to my system, and possibly slowed down the blood pump.

Two of the former head nurse was on duty so they didn't terminated the treatment otherwise they would have finished it and called it off. I am just disheartened about my sessions lately because I couldn't achieve the best treatment possible and so I couldn't able to request for a faster blood pump because of that.

I still have no clue about the reason of my crashing blood pressure but I have a few suspicions and one of them would be a lower blood calcium level in my blood. I could be overdoing my Cinacalcet which causes my bones to not let out Calcium in my blood entirely because the Parathyroid is shutdown which should not be the case because it has to preserve some of its function.

That is why they say that a Parathyroidectomy could cause death to the ones that would undergo it as the calcium in the blood could get so low and cause basically death.

But hypotension was my problem even from the start already and that it is just impossible for me to shutdown my Parathyroid with just a single dose of Cinacalcet everyday. So without a close supervision of a doctor I could only guess and that was my best guess.

One of my best guess was my dialysis itself, it could be that I am getting an efficient session anyway and that it just lowers down my blood sugar effectively along with sodium in my blood. But I am always thirsty during my dialysis and I could rule out the low salt/sodium in my blood. But if my blood sugar is low I could feel hunger but I do not, that is why I am able to last dialysis without eating nowadays.

The last factor that I can guess would be my dry weight, I could be targeting the wrong dry weight afterall and that I am really heavier now compared to my previous months. But again nothing I think make me fat if I come to think of it because of the way I eat as I do not meet my caloric needs.

I just do not know really in what is the cause of my long-standing BP issue. For me it is so important because I could not achieve the best dialysis treatment that I wanted to happen but I guess that it is the way it is, that if you are a long-term dialysis patient you are inevitably bound to experience these things and so I would just let God point the way my fate would go but I am really tired already.
