My mother went to the hospital today to get a consultation about her problematic throat. She also has this GERD condition where swallowing often is hard for her, so much so that it prevents her from eating sometimes even though she is hungry all the time.
I think that my mother's GERD condition is rooted from the fact that she drinks a whole lot of water, I mean a whole lot about a pint and a half after eating. That I think makes her digestive enzymes to get an imbalance and thus making her stomach more acidic, at least that is my personal theory.
Mother also has this problematic tonsils, I told her to get rid of it surgically because it gets inflamed again and again and for years now that is one of her major health complaints.
I just hope that the doctor would come-up with a better solution for her health issues because I wanted her to get well with those.
And so after they went out I started to feel an urge to use the toilet. My parents went to the doctor and I am thinking that they will not get back soon so I just braved it to the bathroom and used my wheelchair as my guide to walk since my feet joints are not cooperating well.
It is not so easy to walk because of my lung issues, it makes me catch my breath for some reason plus my feet are killing me. But due to my diminished body pains I am able to pull myself out from my room and unto the bathroom, not easy but thank God I am able to do it on my own.
Our bathroom is elevated so I have to pull myself up and thanks to my knees they helped me to push myself up so I really happy with it. Coming down after my bathroom use is quite hard too but I managed to come down and used the wheelchair again to guide myself back here in my room. It was nice that I can go to the bathroom on my own because it was almost impossible before to do that feat. I thank God for all the improvements that is happening in my body and I pray that I can achieve more in the next months if God wills it still for me.
