I Just Have An Intermittent Insomnia Right Now Because Of Some Caffeine Residue In My System

It is a bit odd that I was able to sleep an hour after we got home from my dialysis which should be the point that the caffeine in my system is still in effect.

But this evening I could not go to sleep anymore otherwise I will feel sleepy but I can't because I am a bit jittery. Now the residue of Caffeine is still affecting my body and I just have to deal with it.

Not all of the caffeine in my body had been cleansed by the dialysis process due to the fact that some of it had more possibly bounded in the food or breakfast that I ate yesterday and I am guessing that the caffeine just trickled down to my bloodstream together with the food and then absorbed and assimilated slowly and thus the extended effect going on in my system.

But I am sure that in a few hours I am all free from Caffeine and that I can sleep well again. That is how it goes as my routine because I just have to use caffeine pills whenever I will get hooked-up for my twice a week dialysis sessions.

This intermittent insomnia is just a compromise that I have to endure because I have no more option to take to stabilize my BP for my essential dialysis. I really do not want to stay up two days in a row much less three days and that would not be so good as it really might affect my brain function.

I was using Caffeine or drinking coffee willy-nilly before so that I can be able to concentrate in my blogging work at night but that really had disturbed my sleep pattern, so much so that I would wake-up with a racing heart and sweat all over my body. I am glad that I was able to fend-off coffee addiction so now I just am not drinking it because I am addicted but because sometimes I needed to perk me up to tackle the days "work".

But I am just a light sleeper, I never had a good sleep all my life especially in my insomnia years. So I envy normal people that can sleep 6-8 or more hours straight and not waking-up in between. I can sleep normally but I would often wake-up a few hours in between, that is how I am resting my body and brain.

The setting of our house also plays a big role in my sleep pattern, we live beside the street, people goes by over there plus the vehicles. It only get silent when it is nighttime already especially in the wee hours of the morning.

But in daytime it gets all busy and noisy so sometimes I would think that I can never get to live in a neighborhood that is silent because of my ringing ear as I have to deaden the torturing ring in my ear with a hum from an electric fan for example or the noisy environment.

What is just good in staying up all night for me is that I would have a better appetite in the morning compared to when I would sleep and wake-up and then will not have the appetite until late in the afternoon.

Now at least I can make my time as productive as I can and will not waste it because I can blog and distract my mind from all my health issues including this intermittent insomnia that I am enduring regularly.
