Number one, increase your protein intake. Protein has a higher thermic effect than other foods, meaning it burns more calories just from being digested. So increase your protein, increase your metabolism.
2️⃣ Number two, increase your daily step count. Take a look at your average steps and set a higher overall goal for yourself. So if you’re getting 3 to 4,000 steps a day, bump it up to 6,000. If you’re getting 7,000 steps a day, bump it up to 9 or 10K.
3️⃣ Number three, start resistance training three to four times a week. So that resistance training, along with that new protein you’re adding in, is gonna help build lean muscle mass. The more muscle we have, the more calories we’re gonna burn at rest, thus increasing our metabolism.
