Magi Necrosi - The Magic Death Sniper

Hello Splinterfans!

This week we have the battle challenge with the Magi Necrosi who come out of their crypt under the moonlight to do battle.

The first Magi Necrosi was born over 400 years ago under the moonlight according to the lore. It is lucky for those who play the death deck as it can be a very handy powerful magic monster, even at level 1 like I will show you today.

He has a mid-range cost of 6 mana, but it can be worth it because he has a 2 magic attack with a very fast 4 speed plus he is hidden AND has the awesome snipe ability. What is the importance of the snipe ability?

With the snipe ability, a monster will target enemy monsters with ranged, magic, or no attack, not in the first position. This is very handy for Magi Necrosi because, with a 2 magic attack, he can pick off some of those weaker monsters that have a strong attack but weaker health and bypass their shield.

My own Magi Necrosi is just a rented level 1 as I don't usually play the death splinter, but I am always up for a challenge..

I think a maxxed-out Magic Necrosi with his awesome stun ability could prove very deadly. I love the stun ability.

My Team

This is a mid-level mana battle and my focus will be on sniping my opponent.

ROUND 1 - Cursed Windeku vs. Cursed Windeku

image.png

The plan of my attack is to try and pick off my opponent using the sneak and snipe attack of my monsters while Cursed Windeku holds off their tank as long as he can.

The first round starts with Magi Necrosi picking off their Creeping Ooze, while my Uraeus and Undead Badger pick off their ranged attack Twisted Jester who also has the snipe ability.

This has started off well.

ROUND 2 & 3

In the second round, the two Cursed Windeku's finish each other off thanks to the help of Magi Necrosi's extra magic attack, and now the battle is coming down to the wire.

In round 3, Uraeus and Carrion Shade fall.

Round 4

In round 4, it is the final face-off between Magi Necrosi and Undead Badger against the very dangerous Silent Sha-Vi who has a 3 melee attack and 5 health.

Even with his magic attack reduced to just 1 thanks to Thaddius Brood, the Undead Badger and Magic Nerosi manage to finish off Silent Sha-Vi. That was cutting it close because my monsters are almost all level 1!

Summary:

With his snipe and camouflage ability, Magi Necrosi is a great addition to any death deck. Leveled up with more magic attack and stun, he can pull off some great attacks for your splinter.

Although I don't currently own a copy of Magi Necrosi, he is definitely on my shopping list!
