Have you ever eaten a red pie?

Red pies in the philippines are called bahog-boah in some parts of Mindanao and is usually made from expired breads on the bakeries.

Don't worry, it was reprocessed and is safe to eat.

There is a yellow pie also and is prepared with the same process, maybe it depends on what food coloring was available in the bakery.

By far, this is the thickest red pie I have ever seen, almost three inches in width. . Photo taken way back on November 3, 2021 and was bought by my colleagues from Gaisano City Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City.

Red pies are almost everybody's favorite. Do you do too?

I love the filling, it's moist and soft, and chewy and gives a lot of satisfaction to the stomach.

Most of the red pies sold on the local bakery shop are an inch thick only but it tastes good as well.

It's been years since they bought thsi red pie, but when I ha dbeenon teh same store, I never saw one. The management had probably toasted teh left overs.

What's teh memories you remembered with red pies?
