There really are pictures that you can smell. If you don't like Durian, I know you feel gross looking at this one.
But to me, Durians gives a taste of heaven! I may have exaggerated this, but it tastes very delicious, so creamy and yummy!
I am just glad I taught my husband to eat this and blamed himself for not eating on those times when it was abundant; he was thankful to me.
Just once, he dared to taste the fruit and made it past the smell, and he got used to it! Way back when I was pregnant with my son, he was working as a security guard on a durian farm, and he was able to bring me rejected fruit but still good to eat. It provided me and the baby nutrition and it satisfied my cravings.
As of writing, my mother's durian tree is having lots of blooms and fruits, and I hope that a few months from now, we will be able to enjoy it. Oh, I miss eating durian to my satisfaction.
What about you, do you like durian too?
