Hello guys, I am back again with a wonderful delicacy you would love to try out on your own. So delicious with so much nutritional value.

In this post, I will be showing you all how to make the Nigerian Vegetable Soup with practical steps.

Nutritional Benefits Of Vegetable Soup:

Before we proceed in making the soup, let me give us some nutritional value of vegetable soup.

  • Vegetable soup is rich in vitamin.

  • It is good for the eye.

  • It boost blood supplies and circulation in the body.

  • It supplies energy/strength to the body.

  • It is rich in calcium.

  • Etc.

How To Prepare Nigerian Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:

  • Meat:

My washed meat

  • Knorr Maggi

  • Onion

  • Crawfish

  • Red Oil

  • Salt

  • Fresh Pepper

  • Water Leaf

Preparation Procedure

  • Thoroughly wash meat and season with salt, Maggi and onion with a little quantity of water and allow the meat to cook for 5 munits. Just as seen from my below picture.

  • Add your grinded pepper and crawfish plus maggi to the cooking pot and allow for 2 munits.

  • Add your red Oil, then taste for salt and allow to cook for 3 minutes.

Vegetable soup doesn't need much water, so I prefer to use the water I used in cooking the meat from start to finish. This is because, when you add the water leaf, it will produce it's own water again.

  • Add your diced Water leaf and allow to cook for 3 munits.

While the water leaf cooks in the soup, it produces it's own water. So there is no need adding much water to the soup, else your vegetable soup will become watery, which is not meant to be so.

  • Add your pumpkin leaf and allow to cook for 5 seconds.

And congratulations to us, we have Successfully prepared Nigerian Vegetable Soup.

And our soup is served with Fufu (processed cassava)
