Life's Road

Where we are going to is farther
Than where we are coming from
Hence, there's room for changes
Improvements, corrections and learning.

We never stop until our breaths cease
Except we want to become living dead,
A mediocre or non entity of a person
Just living but not necessarily existing.

Sometimes, the road is so smooth
And our walks seem swift and joyful,
With nothing to worry or fuss about
But it will not always be so anyways.

Because other times, it gets rough and bumpy
With many pits and holes trying to swallow us
Hence our walks get challenging and hard
Different from our initial experiences.

Whatever road we find ourselves walking in,
We should never forget it as a phase in which
As time ticks by, so it changes alongside
And our walk on life's road continues.
