RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:-
Jasmine rice(cooked)- 2 small cups
Prawns- 200gms
Asian mushroom (any of your choice)- 100gms
Garlic minced- 1 tsp
Crushed red chillies ( birdseye thai chilli)- 6-10 chillies according to your taste
Garlic chives
Sweet Thai Basil- bunch of basil leaves-- ( ❤️add as much as u wish❤️)
(if you don't have sweet Thai Basil you may add HOLY BASIL too)
Shallot- 1 medium sized
SAUCES:-
Oyster Sauce- 2 tbsp
Fish sauce- 1tbsp
Thai soy sauce- 1tbsp
Shrimp paste- 1tsp
METHOD:-
First sear the prawns on high heat for 30 seconds and then keep it aside.
In a wok add oil, then add the garlic and chillies then saute for few seconds
Then add the Veggies and the mixture of SAUCES*, stir fry them
Then add the rice and the Shrimp and mix well.
Turn off the gas, and add the garlic chives and lots of fresh basil leaves. Mix everything properly, taste and adjust the seasoning (do not add salt before without tasting because fish sauce act as an salty agent)
Serve hot with sliced cucumber, chives and a generous lemon wedge.
