Era un día como otro fui a la clínica veterinaria a visitar al pequeño gatito que tenia ya un mes hospitalizado, me gusta verlo jugar, ver como se tumba al sol, es una dulzura verlo acicalarse y me fascina observar el apetito que tiene, me imagino que esas latas de comida para gato tienen buen sabor, su olor es agradable al destaparlas.

Luego de visitar al bebé acariciarlo y mimarlo, tome el camino de regreso a casa, venía poco a poco porque hacía un calor terrible, además una parte del trayecto es cuesta arriba y como no tenía ningún apuro pues camine despacio para no acalorarme aún mas, pero al cruzar en la esquina vi algo moverse en un árbol bajo y esto llamó mi atención.

Me detuve un momento para observar mejor y vi algo amarillo que se movía entre las ramas del árbol y al detallar bien me di cuenta de que lo que caminaba en las ramas del árbol era una Guacamaya amarilla y azul, que se alimentaba de ese árbol de almendro.

Me sentí emocionada no era primera vez que veía Guacamayos, gracias a Dios vivo en un lugar donde hay mucha naturaleza, árboles animales y aire puro, pero ver una guacamaya en libertad y tan de cerca es algo hermoso.

Sin pensarlo saque mi celular para capturar el momento, poder recordarlo y compartirlo, así que me acerque poco a poco al árbol y tome las dos primeras fotos, cuando de pronto sentí algo moverse en las ramas que estaban sobre mí, fue allí donde me percaté que no era una sola guacamaya eran dos, cosa que debí suponer desde un principio porque ellas nunca andan solas. Así pase unos lindos minutos observando a los guacamayos caminar en esas ramas y alimentarse.

Fue un momento mágico y hermoso, ver a las aves volar es bello, para mi es sinónimo de libertad, pero verlas tan cerca fue mágico, ha visto otras aves de cerca colibrís, guacharacas, azulejos, cristofué, entre otros, pero no había visto una guacamaya en libertad tan cerca, quiero aprovechar esta publicación para hacer un llamado los que aman a las aves, por favor no las encierren en jaulas, ellas son felices en la naturaleza no en tu casa y mucho menos en una jaula. It was a day like any other I went to the veterinary clinic to visit the little kitten that had already been hospitalized for a month, I like to see him play, see how he lies in the sun, it is sweet to see him grooming and I am fascinated to observe the appetite he has, I imagine that those cans of cat food taste good, its smell is nice when you uncover them.

After visiting the baby, caressing and pampering him, I took the way back home, I was coming slowly because it was terribly hot, besides part of the way is uphill and as I was not in a hurry I walked slowly to not get even hotter, but when I crossed the corner I saw something moving in a low tree and this caught my attention.

I stopped for a moment to take a better look and saw something yellow moving among the branches of the tree and upon closer detailing I realized that what was walking in the branches of the tree was a yellow and blue Macaw, which was feeding on that almond tree.

I felt excited, it was not the first time I saw Macaws, thank God I live in a place where there is a lot of nature, animal trees and fresh air, but to see a macaw in freedom and so close is something beautiful.

Without thinking I took out my cell phone to capture the moment, to remember it and share it, so I approached the tree little by little and took the first two photos, when suddenly I felt something move in the branches above me, it was there where I realized that it was not a single macaw but two, which I should have guessed from the beginning because they never walk alone. So I spent a few minutes watching the macaws walking on those branches and feeding.

It was a magical and beautiful moment, to see birds flying is beautiful, for me it is synonymous of freedom, but to see them so close was magical, I have seen other birds up close hummingbirds, guacharacas, azulejos, cristofué, among others, but I had not seen a macaw in freedom so close, I want to take this publication to make a call to those who love birds, please do not lock them in cages, they are happy in nature not in your house and much less in a cage.
